It was a wet and foggy day in the Columbia River Gorge when I viewed it from atop of Angel's Rest. You can see the small island enclosed by the eastern shore, reinforcing its visual weight. My mission then centered on using the surrounding elements to present the island while retaining the sense of depth that the fog reinforced with a soft blur in the background.
